 This Committee is the Chamber “Welcoming Committee” and actively promote the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce in the business community, actively refer prospective members to the Chamber for follow up, and work with new Chamber members to connect them to the Chamber organization and with existing members to ensure their membership experience is a positive one. Ambassadors assists staff with events and ribbon cuttings/grand openings.

 This Committee shall promote communications between the business community, local colleges, and the Garden Grove Unified School District to enhance the understanding and inter-relationship between the schools and business. It shall develop and promote programs to encourage participation on the part of businesses to become involved in the educational process of future local leaders. Workshops and presentations to help improve and promote businesses are also facilitated by this committee.

 This Committee shall evaluate legislation, at all levels, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors to ascertain the Board’s position on all legislative matters. The Committee shall promote the business point of view and support issues that are good for the membership, while remaining neutral. GAC shall develop and implement programs that encourage economic growth and a strong business climate in the City, County, and State,

 This Committee develops and implements programs to retain members, recruit new members, increase membership participation and education of Chamber events and goals.

  This Committee produces all Chamber fundraising events as well as other Chamber events that take place in the community. The key events during the year are the State of the City Luncheon, Gala, GGCF/Chamber Golf Classic, and Bowling Tournament.

 This Committee develops and implements marketing communications via social media and other outlets to promote the Chamber. The Committee helps maintain the Chamber website by keeping it up to date.

  This committee supports the community in multiple ways which include but is not limited to: awarding scholarships annually to GGUSD students, funding beautification projects in our city, and hosting the annual Silver Spoon Awards event.
